During World War II Margaret Blekkenk Allen and her daughter Margaret traveled to St. Louis to visit Art jr. while he was in training in the Army Air Corp. This photograph was taken during that visit. Uncle Art remembers that they took in several of the riverfront night clubs in St. Louis to hear the singers. Grandma had sung in Rochester area clubs. |
